Not knowing a whole lot about music (and much less about this particular kind of music), I found Tommasini's descriptions to be vivid and helpful. <br /><br />I also think this is a great piece to connect with our in-class conversation about The Critic as Artist, specifically the idea of the artist and his or her tools.
